We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused individual who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a workshop setting. Mechanical and electrical exposure will be highly regarded.

About the Role
n
Working within a busy manufacturing workshop, you will provide support to trades personnel across a variety of mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and assembly activities. This role will involve assisting with workshop operations, equipment preparation, general labouring duties, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities
n

Assisting trades personnel with mechanical and electrical workshop activities
n
Supporting assembly, installation, and manufacturing tasks
n
Use of hand and power tools
n
Assisting with equipment preparation and workshop maintenance
n
General workshop housekeeping and cleaning duties
n
Loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment
n
Assisting with inspections, maintenance, and repairs
n
Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
n
Supporting day-to-day workshop operations as required
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Previous experience working as a Trades Assistant within a workshop or industrial environment
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
n
Exposure to mechanical and/or electrical works highly regarded
n
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
n
Strong work ethic and reliability
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
n
Current Driver's Licence preferred
n

Exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, oil & gas, or engineering environments

Electrical or mechanical trade exposure highly regarded
