Join a confidential AI research initiative seeking experienced VFX artists to contribute high-quality portfolio samples for research purposes. This opportunity is ideal for artists with a strong body of original work, particularly those with expertise in character-driven sequences, FX-heavy shots, and advanced compositing. Selected artists will have their work featured in a cutting‐edge research project, with the potential for additional paid collaboration.

Deliverables

Submit links to final rendered VFX clips, with optional breakdowns or reels.
n
Provide a brief description for each sample, including the content of the shot, tools used, production time, and confirmation of ownership and absence of third‐party IP.
n
Indicate your expected payment per sample and hourly rate for any follow‐up work.
n
If selected, be prepared to provide access to underlying project/source files (e.g., Houdini, Nuke, Maya) at a later stage.
n
Potential for additional paid tasks, such as minor adjustments to submitted samples.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a VFX artist with a portfolio of original, self‐owned work.
n




All submitted samples must be free of third‐party intellectual property, including copyrighted or trademarked characters, logos, or brands.
n
Solid skills in compositing, CG/live‐action integration, and FX‐heavy visual effects (smoke, fire, particles, destruction, weather, etc.).
n
Proficiency with industry‐standard VFX software such as Houdini, Nuke, Maya, or similar.
n
Ability to clearly document and describe your creative process and technical approach.
n
Availability for short‐term engagement, with the possibility of ongoing collaboration.
n
Skilled communication and timely response to project inquiries.
