We have partnered with a well‐known manufacturing company that specializes in the manufacturing of sheet metal products specifically for HVAC systems. They are known for their professionalism & high-quality work who services commercial and industrial markets.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in duct and sheet metal fabrication with a high level commitment to health and safety.

n

Due to growth, they require CNC Operators to join the afternoon team for an immediate start.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for cutting, drilling and shaping metal components.
n
Interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine machine settings and specifications.
n
Ensure machines are calibrated and adjusted correctly for accurate cuts and shapes.
n
Own personal protective equipment (PPE)
n
Follow all OHS policies and procedures
n

Requirements

n

Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise safety

n

n




Experience in HVAC/duct system manufacturing highly regarded
n
Fabrication skills such as welding and operating manual machines highly valued
n
Problem‐solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
n
You will demonstrate high level communication, organisation, planning and reporting skills, and the ability to integrate into a team workplace
n

Compensation

n

Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
n

Experience

n

n
Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC Operation
n
Extensive knowledge and experience in HVAC ducting fabrication
n

n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
Minimum Cert 3 in sheet metal fabrication/CNC or related field
n
Must have experience operating CNC machines
