Vacancy - Instrument Rating Instructor, VATSIM-UK

VATSIM-UK are looking for an Instrument Rating Instructor to lead their VATSIM P2 (SEIR) course.

n

General Responsibilities

n

n
Has overall responsibility for training of the P2 SEIR(A) course in accordance with VATSIM UKs P2 SEIR(A) training syllabus;
n
Maintains training standards of the P2 SEIR(A) course;
n
Select and train current mentors for the P2 SEIR(A) course;
n
Organise group seminars as appropriate;
n
Issue training places to students on the P2 SEIR(A) course;
n
Is the point of contact for mentors of the P2 SEIR(A) course;
n
Work with the Operations department to produce and review documentation as required;
n
Provides the Pilot Training Manager with administrative support in relation to P2 SEIR(A)



course were appropriate;
n
Holds a continuous review of the P2 SEIR(A) course and leverages prospects for improvement where appropriate.

The candidate must

n

n
Hold an P1 PPL(A) rating;
n
Have experience mentoring within the division;
n
Be a home member of VATSIM UK or able to transfer to the UK division as a home member;
n
Be a member in positive standing.
n

n

Ideally, the candidate should hold a P2 SEIR(A) rating. In the absence of this rating, the candidate should have and demonstrate a sound understanding of IFR procedures during their application.
