Job Description

As the Assistant Educator (Cert III Qualified), you will assist the ECT / Lead Educators to implement educational experiences and day‐to‐day operations in the room.

Duties

n

n
Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.
n
Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.
n
Assist ECT / Lead Educator to conduct observations for the children.
n
Assist ECT / Lead Educator to set up learning spaces or experiences.
n
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating positive behaviour and language.
n

Qualifications

n

n
Hold a Cert III in ECEC.
n
Hold a current First Aid Qualification (Early Childhood specific).
n
Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (Preferable).
n
Hold the WWVP card.
n
Be familiar with the EYLF and NQF guidelines.
n
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
A positive, caring attitude and willingness to improve.
n
Skilled presentation.
