We are currently seeking a highly motivated Workshop Supervisor to join our team and lead our Workshop with a team of Boilermakers, Machine Operators, Welders and Apprentices.

n

The successful candidate will report to the Fabrication Manager and be responsible for supervising all daily workshop operation activities.

n

Key duties will be:

n

Supervise the workshop's daily operational activities,




n
Ensure only VoC workers undertake VoC tasks,
n
Review drawings prior to issue and allocate work,
n
Plan jobs. Provide leadership to the workshop team,
n
Train team members in welding applications,
n
Dispatch jobs according to the Fabrication program,
n

n

To successfully secure this position you need to demonstrate:

n

n
proven experience and a leadership role in structural steel fabrication,
n
formal trade qualifications (Cert III) and a forklift licence are essential,
n
Higher-level certificates (Cert IV and Welding Supervisor - AS2214) are preferable,
n
an ability to establish rapport and manage a workshop team,
