Austek Roads (ACT) are seeking a skilled full time Spray Seal Labourer / Spreader Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT.

Spray Seal Labourer/Spreader Truck Driver

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
Safely operate heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
n
Safe labouring duties may include but not limited to shovelling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely positioning and unloading trucks for spray seal operations
n
Follow direction of Crew leader, site foreperson, project manager and other senior managers
n
Safe manual handling practises
n
Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on all assigned equipment
n
Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
n
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
Current driver's licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications
n
Experience on spray sealing works / asphalt crews
n
White card
n
Silica and Asbestos awareness training
n
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of bitumen spraying equipment
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent,



quality results
n
Valuable communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
