Based at our Tamworth depot, this part-time role involves a set run 3 afternoons a week.
This offers the prospect for regular driving routes and a consistent work schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operating refrigerated semi-trailers to transport goods across regional NSWPerforming pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthinessAdhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policiesMaintaining accurate logbooks and trip documentationProviding exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and in excellent conditionAssisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as requiredTo be successful in this role you'll have:Minimum 2 years' experience driving refrigerated semi-trailers or B-doublesPhysical fitness for manual unloadingAbility to operate a heavy vehicle in a skilled & safe mannerKnowledge of regional NSW road networks and transport regulationsAbility to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testingExcellent customer service skills and the ability to work independentlyA willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hoursAstrong Think SafeattitudeImportant information about applying for the role:Due to high application volumes, we are unable to accept phone inquiries regarding individual application status.All applicants must have valid working rights in Australia.Agencies and third parties strictly need not apply.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
