Sydney School of Sound is a music school that offers tuition for individuals and schools in NSW.
Due to increasing demand from parents within schools, we are looking for Guitar (Acoustic/Classical/Electric/Bass), Piano, Drum and Vocal Tutors.Job type: Casual, Sub-ContractHours of Work: Teaching load determined by student enrolments and tutor availabilityKey responsibilities:Tutoring weekly one-to-one or semi-private guitar/piano/drum/vocal lessons to students from Primary to High School (K-12)Before- and after-school teaching available, depending on student and tutor availability.
Potential for tutoring during school hoursTutoring mixed-ability students.
We strive to provide students of all learning needs with a creative and fun musical experienceRequirements:Hold or be currently completing a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g. B/Music or Education), OR demonstrate equivalent qualified experience/qualifications (e.g. AMEB, Trinity, or industry performance experience)Ability to read and write music notationAbility and willingness to teach students of all agesTo be eligible for this role,
