We are currently looking for a highly motivated and efficient person to join our mechanical team.We are currently looking for a Qualified Technician to join our award-winning team.Essential Skills & QualificationsQualifications as a TechnicianMust possess industry level certification to operate as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic in VictoriaDeveloped knowledge of the automotive industryAbility to work productively in an autonomous environmentHighly motivatedCustomer Service focusedAbility to manage time effectively and multi-task where requiredResponsibilitiesProviding expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehiclesTaking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty componentsRepairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspensionsystemsReporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systemsOrdering parts needed as part of warranty serviceProviding guidance and training to apprentice service techniciansMaintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product rangeMaintaining a safe working setting through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipmentTest driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guestsBenefits and RewardsA friendly and enjoyable work environmentOngoing support and system trainingBrand trainingWage dependant on experienceMonday to Friday 8am - 5pm + overtime available
