We provide premium home nursing and support services across Cairns, delivering everything from everyday care through to some of the most complex community nursing in the region.We're looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse Coordinator who is organised, compassionate, clinically confident, and passionate about making a real difference in people's lives.About the RoleThis is a full-time Monday to Friday position based in our Cairns office, coordinating care for clients living in their own homes.You'll work closely with our Director of Clinical Operations, Operations Manager, Registered Nurses and Caregivers to ensure our clients receive exceptional, person-centred care.No two days are the same.
You'll balance clinical coordination with relationship building, problem solving and supporting our amazing team in the field.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating a portfolio of home care clientsCompleting client assessments and care planning within your scopeSupporting caregivers with clinical guidance and day-to-day problem solvingLiaising with clients, families, support coordinators, hospitals,



GPs and allied health professionalsMonitoring service quality and ensuring documentation remains accurate and compliantParticipating in continuous quality improvement initiativesConducting home visits throughout the Cairns regionAbout YouYou are someone who genuinely cares about people and enjoys building strong relationships with clients and your team.You'll have:Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled NurseCommunity, disability or aged care experienceExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong clinical judgement within your scope of practiceThe ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing tasksConfidence using technology and electronic clinical documentation systemsA current driver's licenceFlexibility & On CallOur normal working hours are Monday to Friday.As we provide care 24 hours a day, some flexibility to assist outside standard business hours is required from time to time.You will also participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster, providing support to our after-hours team when required.Why Join Nurse Next Door?
