Aqua Analytics is seeking a Water Network Technician to join our growing team.
This is a full time position based in Bayswater North, but working in water networks across Melbourne and Victoria.Key responsibilitiesUndertake active leak detection inspections of potable and recycled water networks (up to 10km per day of walking required)Respond to water supply emergencies and undertake fault diagnosis using a range of equipmentMaintain accurate records of field activitiesCollaborate with water utility engineering teams to identify opportunities for network optimisation and efficiency improvementsComply with health and safety regulations and implement best practices on all work sitesAssist in training and mentoring junior technicians as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience working in water distribution networks or water utility operations and utilising acoustic leak detection technologyStrong knowledge of water infrastructure systemsProficiency in using test and measurement equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters,
