We are seeking an experiencedStore Manager - Petrol, Oil Warehouse & Takeawayto join Marano's Fuel Cairns.
This is a full-time position based on-site at ourDraper Street Site.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the oil warehouse, petrol station, and takeaway facilities.
Site offers takeaway food and meals, and experience/qualifications in the food industry would be highly desirable.This role requires a "hands-on" approach and will involve all aspects of site management including, but not limited to:Staff management/ recruitment and trainingManage cash handling/daily reconciliationsComplete staff rostering to budgetedhoursMaintain stock levels and manage inventory across petrol, convenience products, oils and takeaway items,



ensuring optimal stock rotation and minimising wastageDeliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming workplace that encourages repeat businessWorkplace health & safety complianceAssist customers with loading/delivering of oil ordersMaintain cleanliness, presentation and safety standards throughout the store, forecourt and takeaway areasWhat we're looking for:Excellent communication skills with ability to work with employees/external Trade PartnersStrong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProblem solving skills and time management skillsProven experience in retail store management, ideally within a petrol station, convenience store or similar multi-faceted retail environmentCurrent unrestricted Queensland Driver's LicenseForklift Licence (preferable)Extensive knowledge of oil and lubricant productsFlexibility in work hours/ may require after hours availabilityPhysically fitWhat we offer:Work 5 out of 7 daysWorking for a successful locally owned businessUniform providedCompany phone provided
