Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking passionate Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling professionals to join the IPAR team at Tamworth NSW.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the support of our experienced, multidisciplinary team.As a Rehabilitation Consultant at IPAR, you will have exposure to a wide range of schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans' Affairs and employer‐funded programs.
You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a variety of physical and psychological conditions, helping them achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
No two days are the same, and your work will make a meaningful difference.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation AssistantsApply your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomesPartner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programsCollaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionalsConduct a range of clinical and vocational assessments, including:Initial assessmentsWorkplace assessmentsFunctional capacity assessmentsActivity Daily Assessments (ADL)Vocational assessmentsIdentify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to workNew to Occ Rehab?

QualificationsWe're looking for a motivated and compassionate professional who brings:Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation CounsellingGeneral or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); orEligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);Strong communication and relationship-building skillsA genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomesEmpathy, resilience, and a client-centred approachExcellent time management and organisational skillsPrevious experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)A current NSW Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicleAdditional InformationEvery day, we seek better together, for our clients, our customers, our community and each other.Here at IPAR, we have three simple but powerful values that drive every decision we make as a business and as a team.
