Utilise your expertise and commitment to safety to lead boiler operation.
Your role will be to:Operate and monitor boilers, refrigeration systems, compressors, and associated plant machinery;Ensure safe operation in accordance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and manufacturer guidelines;Conduct routine inspections, checks, and log readings;Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions;Perform start-ups, shutdowns, isolations, and changeovers;Coordinate with maintenance and production teams;Assist with planned maintenance and shutdown activities;Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation; andReport hazards, incidents,



and equipment defects promptly.This position is suited to an experienced operator confident in operation and monitoring of industrial systems.
As such, you will have:Current HRWL – Advanced Boiler Operation (ABO)(mandatory)Experience operating industrial boilers and refrigeration systemsSound knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatmentStrong understanding of WHS and safe operating proceduresAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamGood communication and record-keeping skillsWillingness to work shifts – 5on/4off, 4on/5off, 5on/5off etc.Since ****, when Oakey Beef was acquired by NH Foods, we have become a leader in processing.
