About the Opportunity
We invite applications from enthusiastic final-year university students to join our School as part of our Teacher Internship Program. This internship is designed for those passionate about education and eager to gain practical experience in a supportive school workplace.
We are welcoming applications across subject areas, with particular interest in:
Religious Education
The program will commence in Term ****** with a commitment to work one day per week during the school term.
Paired with a mentor, you will gain hands-on experience in teaching in your specialism, working alongside experienced educators.
Participation in professional learning and contribution to the life of the school through extracurricular and pastoral care programs.
Development of your teaching practice in line with the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model.
The Ideal Candidate
Enrolment in a Secondary Education University Degree program (final year of Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching).
Conditional Teacher Accreditation with NESA (eTAMS) is required.
Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
Able to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
Displays a proactive approach to career development and a desire to contribute to the broader school community.
Demonstrates alignment with Loreto Normanhurst's values.
