About the Role
An ICU Registrar will provide 24/7 onsite medical care, assessment and coordination of patients within the ICU and HDU across both hospital sites.
Work will be supported by experienced intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality critical care and clinical support within the ICU.
Coordinate ICU admissions and discharges with the nurse in charge.
Participate in the ICU roster, including after-hours and on-call commitments.
What You Bring
Demonstrated ICU experience providing high-quality patient care.
Solid leadership, communication and teamwork skills in busy clinical environments.
Commitment to teaching and supervising medical, nursing and allied health staff.
Appropriate medical qualifications and current AHPRA registration,
or eligibility for full AHPRA registration within 12 months.
PGY3 or above, with a minimum of 6 months' ICU experience and 12 months' anaesthetic training prior to commencement.
