Earnings: Up to AUD $1,000,000+ per year (£ 500K) (public + private billing)

An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join a leading surgical network in the Melbourne region, offering a unique mix of public hospital work combined with high-demand private practice.
This role is suited to surgeons seeking both clinical variety and high earning potential, supported by a team-oriented, well‐established team.
With a strong referral base, up-to-date theatres, and advanced reconstructive & aesthetic capabilities, surgeons can rapidly build a full caseload while enjoying one of Australia's most livable cities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a broad range of reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures
Participate in elective, trauma, and complex reconstructive surgery
Provide inpatient and outpatient care across both public and private settings




Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical staff and trainees
Engage in clinical governance, CME activities, and service development
Contribute to research or academic activity if desired
Candidate Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent)
Specialist qualification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (e.g. FRCS(Plast), American Board, Royal College of Canada, European Board, FRACS-equivalent, or South African specialist registration)
Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration
Strong communication skills and commitment to patient‐centred care
Experience across both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery preferred
