As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership and oversight across multiple SIL homes, supporting Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.
This is a leadership and oversight role, not a hands-on support role.
You'll focus on staff leadership, incident management, compliance, and service quality, while working closely with Senior Support Workers, Care Coordinators, and the General Manager.
Key responsibilities
Lead, support, and coach Senior Support Workers and Support Workers across allocated SIL homes
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to staff teams
Review incident reports, provide staff coaching, and escalated critical incidents as required
Identify emerging risks and work collaboratively with participants, families, and the wider stakeholder team to reduce risk and improve safety
Oversee service delivery to ensure supports align with participant care plans, risk assessments, and NDIS requirements
Work closely with Senior Support Workers to monitor compliance, review regular audits, and conduct weekly spot checks
Support staff training and performance development
Act as a key point of contact for participant, family, and stakeholder feedback
Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support service delivery when required
About you




Minimum 5 years experience working in disability support services, ideally within SIL environments
Minimum 3 years experience leading, supervising, or coaching support staff
Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct
Confidence managing incidents, risk, and compliance
Clear communication skills and a professional approach
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

Current First Aid & CPR
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
Relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, Leadership, or equivalent experience
