Job Description
Through our Fee-Free Traineeship Program, you'll gain hands-on experience working with children while studying towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Best of all, we'll cover your training costs and support you every step of the way., As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart Caloundra, you'll be supported by experienced Educators, Teachers, and Centre Leadership to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in Early Childhood Education.
You'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while working towards your Certificate III qualification.
In this role, you'll:
Help create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Support educational programs and daily learning experiences
Contribute to a positive team culture
Learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Develop practical skills through hands-on experience and study

About the Candidate
Be willing to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Have permanent working rights in Australia
Have robust communication and organisational skills
Be enthusiastic, motivated,



and passionate about working with children
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Have flexible availability
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a QLD Working with Children Check
Hold a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
Provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), or be willing to receive them
Please note: To be eligible for a traineeship, you must not have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification (outside of secondary school) within the last seven years. Applicants who have completed a school-based qualification outside of childcare may still be eligible.
