Site Coodinator - Glass and Aluminium (Melbourne-based)

We are seeking an experienced Site Coordinator - Glass and Aluminium to join our team at Mercury Industry Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne. This is a full time position that will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day coordination and supervision of our glass and aluminium installation projects.

Candidates with valid work visas are acceptable for this position.

What you'll be doing
Liaising with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery
Scheduling and coordinating the work of glass and aluminium installation teams
Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
White Card and Working at Heights certifications are required
Providing on-site leadership and mentorship to installation crews
Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to project activities
Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials

What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Coordinator or Supervisor in the construction industry, with a focus on glass and aluminium installations




Experience with curtain wall systems is preferred but not essential
Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
Solid project management and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
Proficiency in Aconex/Oracle construction management software is required
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting
Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be highly regarded
