We are a well-established fire protection contractor delivering sprinkler, hydrant, and fire safety systems across a wide range of commercial and residential projects. With a solid current workload and forecast growth, we are looking to bring on a motivated Junior Draftsperson to join our team.

The Prospect
n
This is an entry-level role suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is looking to develop practical skills in fire services design and drafting. You will receive structured on-the-job training and be supported by an experienced team in a fast-paced, high-performing drafting office.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Assisting with the preparation of fire services drawings
n
Learning sprinkler and hydrant system design and drafting principles
n
Producing drawings using Revit (3D modelling) and AutoCAD (2D drafting)
n
Supporting the drafting and project teams with document control and coordination
n
Developing an understanding of Australian Standards and construction processes
n
Attending meetings with the Design Manager to build skills in services coordination and project delivery
n

Strong computer literacy to support what you'll be learning
n
Eager to learn and committed to developing a long-term career in drafting and fire services
n
Positive attitude with a willingness to take direction and feedback
n
Able to work effectively in a busy office environment
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n

Advantageous (but not essential):
n
n
Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Revit
n
Any prior experience in drafting, construction, or engineering settings
n
