As a result of continued growth, an opportunity is now available for an experiencedStores Controllerto take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory control and team coordination.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiency within a busy warehouse environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stock movements, inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation and safety compliance.
You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing inward and outward stock movements, dispatches and inventory transactions
Ensuring all stock is accurately received, labelled, stored and traceable
Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and inventory variances
Coordinating stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory audits
Maintaining warehouse consumables and operational supplies
Supervising warehouse activities and providing day-to-day direction to team members
Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with workplace procedures
Working closely with purchasing, production, sales and operations teams to resolve stock-related matters
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in a Stores Controller, Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Controller or similar position
Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management and warehouse operations
Experience supervising staff and coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities
High attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy
Experience using ERP, inventory management or warehouse management systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive and hands-on approach to warehouse leadership
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
