Job description: Infrastructure Delivery Lead
The Technical Infrastructure Delivery Lead is responsible for theend-to-end delivery, governance, operational management, and transformation ofenterprise infrastructure services.
The successful candidate will lead large-scale infrastructure programs,including Data Centre (DC) migrations, infrastructure modernization, cloud andhybrid platform initiatives, disaster recovery, cyber security,operationalsupport,and service transformation programs.
The role acts as the primaryliaison between customer stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, andexecutive leadership to ensure successful delivery and operational excellence.
This position is ideally suited to an experiencedInfrastructureDeliveryManager or Datacentre Technology Lead with provenexperiencedeliveringinfrastructure services within large enterprise environments.
Mandatory Experience
Minimum 12+ years ofInfrastructureServicesand Technology Delivery experience.
Minimum 5+ years leadingenterpriseinfrastructuredelivery teams.
Proven experience managing complexinfrastructuretransformationinitiatives.
Experience supporting mission-criticalenterprise platforms.
Solid experience acrossInfrastructureOperationsand Managed Services environments.
Experience managing multi-vendordelivery ecosystems.
Experience working withinUtilities,Government,Banking, Healthcare,Telecommunications,or other highlyregulated industries.
Strong customer-facing andexecutivestakeholdermanagement experience.
Sydney-based or willing to relocate toSydney (Mandatory).
Highly Desirable
Government or CriticalInfrastructuresectorexperience.
Hybrid Cloud and CloudTransformationexperience.
Experience transitioning servicesbetween providers or datacentres.
Service Delivery leadership within largeManaged Services engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Delivery Leadership
Lead end-to-end delivery ofenterpriseinfrastructureservices.
Manage infrastructure operationscovering compute, storage, backup, virtualization, network,security,monitoring,and workplace services.
Drive service excellence aligned tocontracted SLAs, KPIs, availability, and performance targets.
Establish delivery governance,executivereporting,risk management, and continual service improvement frameworks.
Manage onshore and offshore deliveryteams and ensure alignment with customer business objectives.
Lead large-scale Data Centre migrationprograms from planning through post-migration stabilization.
Develop migration strategies coveringphysical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Manage infrastructuremigrationassessments,architecture reviews, planning workshops, migration runbooks,cutover execution, and hypercare activities.
Coordinate application,infrastructure,security,vendor, and business teams during migration initiatives.
Manage infrastructuretransformationprogramsinvolving datacentre consolidation, modernization, and cloudadoption.




Lead RAID management,dependencytracking,business continuity planning, and migration risk mitigation.
Drive successful migration outcomes withminimal business disruption.
Review and approveinfrastructurearchitectureand design artefacts.
Ensure solutions meetsecurity,performance,resilience, scalability, and compliance requirements.
Support infrastructure roadmaps andtechnology modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with enterprisearchitects,securityteams, and technology partners.
Service Management & Operations
Lead Incident, Problem, Change,Capacity, Availability, Configuration, and Service RequestManagementprocesses.
Ensure operational readiness for projectand transformation initiatives.
Drive observability,monitoring,automation,and AIOps adoption.
Lead Disaster Recovery planning,testing, and recovery exercises.
Ensure operational stability of criticalbusiness systems.
Security & Compliance
Ensure infrastructure services complywith organizational security standards and customer requirements.
Partner with cyber security teams tomanage vulnerabilities, patching, remediation, and compliance activities.
Support security audits andregulatoryobligations.
Promote Security by Design principlesacross all infrastructure projects.
Build trusted relationships withcustomer executives and technology stakeholders.
Lead infrastructure governance andsteering committee discussions.
Manage third-party suppliers, cloudproviders, datacentre providers, and managed service partners.
Provide executive-level communication ondelivery status, risks, and transformation outcomes.
Lead a multidisciplinary infrastructureteam comprising:

Security Specialists
Service Management Professionals
Mentor and develop technicalleadershipcapability.
Drive workforce planning,successionplanning,and capability uplift initiatives.
