Production Manager | Manufacturing
Location: Moorebank, Sydney NSW
Work Type: Permanent Fulltime onsite
An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a secure and well-established production environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who enjoys driving production outcomes, supporting frontline teams, improving operational performance, and maintaining a strong safety culture.
You will work closely with the State Manager and play a key role in ensuring production schedules, workforce planning, and operational efficiency targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations
Coordinate production schedules and machine utilisation
Allocate labour resources effectively across production activities
Support and develop supervisors, team leaders and production staff
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
Ensure compliance with WHS, safety and company procedures
Participate in production planning and workflow optimisation
Collaborate with maintenance and logistics functions
Provide operational leadership across a team of approximately ***** employees
About You
Previous experience as a Production Manager,



Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar
Strong people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
Strong WHS and operational compliance knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to coach and develop frontline leaders
Continuous improvement mindset
Experience within plastics, packaging, injection moulding, industrial manufacturing or similar environments highly regarded
