Community/Disability Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated support worker to assist NDIS clients with daily tasks, outings, and social activities.

Availability

Must be fluent in English.
n
Must be available on Mondays.
n

Requirements

n

Fluent in English.
n
Must be driving.
n
Full Australian driver's licence and own car.
n
Comprehensive car insurance.
n
NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
n
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
n
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
Experience in manual handling, challenging behaviours, and other high‐care skills.
n
Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
n

About the Role

n

Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their NDIS goals.

n

n




Intensive, adaptable, responsive client‐focused support to help clients improve their physical and mental health.
n
Initiate planning of clients' activities and social outings.
n
Develop connections with the community to help clients achieve their goals.
n
Assist with daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and related tasks.
n
Willing to undertake both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing duties.
n
Willing to be on‐call and travel to different areas.
n

This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
