The Opportunity
n
Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at Wesley College in Prahran to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning setting in Outside School Hours Care.
n
The Role
n
After School Care 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM
n
Mandatory availability Monday to Thursday
n
Holiday care up to 6 hours per day (only include if vac is offered at school)
n
Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are secure, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
n
Supervise and support children
n
Prepare and serve healthy food options
n
Create an engaging and happy setting for children
n
Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community
n
About You
n
Engaging and warm personality
n
Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
n
Excellent communication and people skills
n
You hold Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent
n
Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
n
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
n
Child Protection Training Certificate
n
Available to work Monday to Thursday
