CC Components in Hallam are looking for Permanent Full-Time Conveyor Belt Splicers to join our service team.

This includes our heavy rubber and light weight rubber locations, both in Hallam.
n
We do not offer FIFO, position is based in Hallam with travel to customer sites.

Wages to be negotiated on experience.

About the Role:
n
As an experienced Belt Splicer, you will offer a broad skillset with the ability to splice, repair, maintain and install a range of rubber and PVC conveyors. You will be able to work well in a small team environment whilst ensuring to uphold our high customer service standards. Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Overtime & weekend work is essential, travel will be required dependent on job.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Take a proactive and enthusiastic approach to deliver conveyor belting/rubber lining services to our valued clients.
n
Deliver quality work in timely manner.
n
Provide maintenance, belt repairs in house and on site, belt installation, technical advice, cutting and preparing conveyor belts for site installation, rubber lining and high-level problem solving.
n
Execute and deliver all work safely and to a high professional standard
n
Liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in a skilled and courteous manner.
n

To be successful:
n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
n
Have a solid work ethic
n
Solid focus on safety and site safety rules
n
A valid HRW LF & SL Licence (highly desirable)
n
Basic Rigging and Dogging Tickets (highly desirable - not essential)
n
Be available for afterhours callouts - paid at the appropriate penalty rates.
