We are urgently looking for a Network Engineer for onsite dispatch support in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Description

n

n
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
n
Perform onsite rack installation, cabling, and hardware replacement activities
n
Execute configuration tasks using console access and remote management tools
n
Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis (Layer 1–3 issues)
n
Coordinate with remote engineering teams (e.g., Systal engineers) during deployment and fault resolution
n
Conduct hardware health checks and preventive maintenance activities
n
Ensure compliance with site access, safety, and operational procedures
n
Support migration, upgrade, and expansion projects for network infrastructure
n




Document all activities, configurations, and changes accurately in service management tools
n

Qualifications

n

n
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
n

n

Tools and Safety Equipment for Network Engineer

n

n
Laptop
n
Communication software for interaction with Systal engineers
n
Complete set of screwdrivers (to open the rack from the right side, check cable clearance, and remove the power supply using a screwdriver)
n
Lift / Cherry picker (required as the switch is mounted ~25–30 feet above ground; customer confirmed this needs to be brought by the engineer)
