About the role

We have a excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with solid experience in Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing to join our dynamic clinical team on a full-time, Part-time and Casual basis. Monday to Friday adaptable roster.

Duties and responsibilities

n

n
Assist the nursing team to deliver secure, evidence-based patient care
n
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
n
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
n
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
n
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
n
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
n

About You

n

You have a genuine passion for nursing,

Solid experience in Perioperative Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing
n
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Thrive in a faced paced specialised team
