Agile Business Analyst — Digital Transformation Program

Sydney CBD | Day Rate Contract | $800/day inc. super | 12+ months

We're partnering with a medium sized financial services firm (1000+ staff) in Sydney CBD to find an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join a major digital transformation program. This is a long-term contract engagement (12+ months) offering the chance to work on high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.

About the Role

You'll work closely with cross-functional squads, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into transparent, actionable requirements - helping drive the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements within an Agile delivery framework
Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Architects to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Support API integration initiatives,



working with technical teams to understand data flows and system interactions
Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and stakeholder discussions
Support UAT planning and execution
Contribute to process improvement and change management activities across the program

About You
Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Agile digital transformation programs
Strong understanding of APIs (RESTful services, integration patterns, data flows) and ability to work confidently with technical stakeholders
Experience within financial services or another regulated industry highly regarded
Confident facilitator with robust stakeholder management skills
Agile certification (CSPO, PSM, Protected or similar) advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
