The HSEQ & Facilities Officer based in Sydney provides Health & Safety coordination for Teletrac Navman's Australian operations and supplies facility and office support services for our Australia offices and warehouse. The role also assists with ISO certification audits & compliance in Australia, and supports global audits as required.

This senior specialist WHS role focuses on leading Health, Safety, Setting and Quality (HSEQ) outcomes across Teletrac Navman's Australia and Current Zealand operations. The position operates on a 70% WHS / 30% workplace operations split, with WHS as the primary focus, and provides remote WHS advice to the New Zealand office.

Key Responsibilities

Champion, coordinate, and drive compliance of HSEQ activities across Teletrac Navman Australia and NZ.
n
Lead ISO 45001 and other ISO audits required for Teletrac Navman Australia and support global ISO activities as required, working with external auditors and consultants.

Manage HSEQ documentation, ensuring that record keeping and reporting requirements are completed.
n
Lead coordination of health & safety committee meetings and provide guidance to staff on health & safety procedures.

Serve as the facilities lead for the Australian head office in Sydney and assist other Teletrac Navman offices as needed.

Assist with everyday office duties such as ordering supplies, liaising with contractors, and building management.

Provide assistance with health & safety inductions for new employees and coordinate required health & safety training for staff (e.g., first aiders, fire wardens).

Essential Qualifications

n

n
Certificate IV – Frontline Work, Health & Safety.
n
Proven experience leading and managing ISO audits (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
n
Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation (NZ exposure highly regarded).
n
5 years+ relevant experience in HSEQ in a corporate work setting.
n
Strong communication skills.

Experience supporting multi-site or cross-regional operations (AU/NZ).

Exposure to corporate / office-based environments.

Experience balancing WHS responsibilities with workplace operations or facilities.

Experience working with external auditors and consultants.

Familiarity with workplace safety technology, reporting tools or compliance systems.
