About the role:
Coal Services is looking for two Claims Offices to support Worker Services team on full-time, fixed-term contracts until 30/06/2027.
As a Claims Officer with Coal Mines Insurance (CMI), you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of claims-related administration and customer-service activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Accurate and timely payment of accounts
Registration of claims and early notifications
Efficient management of customer claims administration, mail, phone enquiries and file management
Ability to meet KPI targets in a timely manner
Active participation in ongoing projects under management
About you:
Your education, experience and skills will include:
Business Administration Certificate (essential)
Robust computer skills especially with Adobe and Microsoft Office
Team player with a focus on customer service excellence
Professional phone manner with clear verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to learning
Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
