The employer is a large family-owned company with a solid Fleet Management division which operates nationally and services trucks, trailers, and related equipment for many large business operations across different industry sectors.

About the role

n

We need an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join a small, close knit and friendly workshop team in Moorebank NSW.

n

Qualified Heavy Truck Technicians would be preferred but we will also consider Light Vehicle Mechanics looking for a career change.

n

In this role you will be required to undertake the repair and maintenance requirements of all on-site customer fleet vehicles whilst providing excellent customer service.

What you need:

n

n
Qualifications - Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate - prefer with experience in Heavy Vehicle industry but will also consider Light Vehicle Mechanics looking for a career change
n
Skills - Valuable diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial
n
Interpersonal - Ability to work without constant supervision, and communicate effectively with fellow colleagues, customers and drivers
n
Focus - High level of attention to detail and customer focus
n
Licences - Current HC drivers licence desirable but not essential
n
Tools - Own tools
n
