We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join a professional accounting firm in Sydney. This internship provides hands-on experience across accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting while helping you develop practical skills in an Australian business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks
n
Support the preparation of financial statements and working papers
n
Perform bank and account reconciliations
n
Assist with BAS, GST, and payroll processing
n
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
n
Assist with general finance and administrative duties
n

Skills & Qualifications

n

Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance,



or a related field
n
Basic understanding of accounting principles
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
n
Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is advantageous
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
