Requirements of Storeperson role:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Ensure proper storage and handling of engineering materials
Ensure goods received match purchase orders and delivery documentation
Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements
Receive, store, assemble, pack and/or unpack goods
Assist with the coordination of battery and power operated tools and some plant equipment – maintenance, testing and tagging, cleaning, servicing schedules.
(highly desirable but not essential)
Ensure smooth flow of receiving inbound materials & processing of orders




Assist Tradesmen as required & directed by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor
Maintain stores area in a clean state
Deliver goods from store to customer locations and maintain consumables across our site
Load and/or unload vehicles and/or trucks as required.
(Forklift/HR license desirable)
Uphold & obey all workplace WHSE requirements, as instructed by company policies and procedures
Important requirements of the role
Minimum 2 years' experience as a storeperson
Proficiency in using an RF system and computer literacy is required
C-class license
Previous experience working in an engineering warehouse environment is desirable
