About the Role
n
Working alongside our experienced kitchen brigade, you will help deliver consistently high-quality meals and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with recipes and venue standards
n
Assisting senior chefs with daily mise en place and service preparation
n
Ensuring meals are prepared and served promptly during busy service periods
n
Maintaining consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control
n
Supporting stock rotation and responsible ingredient use
n
Helping reduce food waste and supporting the venue's sustainability initiatives
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and secure kitchen
n
Following all food safety, hygiene, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements
n
Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
n
A genuine passion for food and quality presentation
n
The ability to work efficiently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
n
Robust communication and teamwork skills
n
The ability to follow recipes, instructions and venue procedures
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Reliability and a strong work ethic
n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy holiday periods
n
n
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced cooks who can demonstrate the right skills, attitude and passion for hospitality.
