The Chance

Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at Holy Spirit Community School in Ringwood to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.

The Role

n

n
Before School Care 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM.
n
After School Care 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM.
n
Holiday care up to 6 hours per day.
n
Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are protected, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
n
Supervise and support children.
n
Prepare and serve healthy food options.
n
Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
n
Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community.
n

About You

n

n
Engaging and warm personality.
n
Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting.
n
Excellent communication and people skills.
n




You hold Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent.
n
Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
n
HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
n
Child Protection Certificate.
n
Available to work Monday to Friday and Vacation Care.
n
