Nicholas Scott is working with leading global law firm renowned for its expertise in employment law and workplace relations.
They have an opportunity for a talented and motivated Employment Lawyer (Qualified in England & Wales or a returning Australian lawyer) to join a dynamic team in Sydney.
You will work on a broad range of employment and workplace relations matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising clients on employment law matters, including industrial relations, workplace policies, unfair dismissals, and discrimination claims.
Assisting with employment-related disputes, including litigation in Fair Work Commission and other relevant tribunals and courts.
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, workplace policies, and other legal documents.
Advising on workplace investigations, compliance, and risk management strategies.
Supporting clients with workplace restructuring, redundancies, and enterprise bargaining agreements.
Keeping up to date with employment law developments and providing thought leadership on emerging trends.
Requirements:
2–5 years PQE in employment law gained at a reputable UK or Australian law firm or in-house team.
Strong communication and client management skills with the ability to provide commercially focused advice.
A proactive and team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
