Overview
Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine required at a Western NSW hospital.
Temporary, shift-based role with multiple scheduled dates and a daily rate of $2,******.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency medicine clinical coverage during assigned shifts, including ward rounds and patient management.
Be in the building for ward rounds in the mornings (7:30am), consult with each patient and document records; remain available to return should a patient deteriorate and nursing staff call.
Collaborate with hospital departments and services as needed (inpatient beds, maternity ward, operating theatres, 24 hour emergency department, ambulatory care, oncology, X-ray and pathology).
Location and Schedule
Location: Western NSW hospital, South Western Sydney region, NSW.
Shifts as listed: multiple date ranges from 27/04/2026 to 13/07/2026 with ongoing coverage through 08/08/2026; rate: $2,500 per day.
Qualifications and Application
Registration: Candidate must be registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
