About the Role

S seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop in Truganina.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workshop operations, supervising technicians, coordinating jobs, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the workshop.
Supervise, support and motivate workshop staff and technicians.
Allocate jobs and coordinate daily workflow.
Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed within required timeframes.
Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical issues when required.
Ensure all workshop procedures comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean,



organised and protected workshop setting.
Manage workshop tools, equipment, parts and supplies.
Coordinate servicing, repairs and maintenance schedules.
Communicate with customers regarding repairs, job progress and completion times.
Maintain accurate job cards, service records and workshop documentation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Mechanic.
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on workshop experience.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
