Senior Business Analyst (SME) - Disaster Management Planning
We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned Business Analyst or Consultant with proven experience in disaster management planning to support a high-impact Utility initiative focused on resilience, emergency response, and strategic preparedness.
This role will play a critical part in shaping frameworks that protect communities and infrastructure across Victoria.

Work on a statewide disaster management program for a leading Utility

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across emergency services, government, and infrastructure to gather and document business requirements
Analyse current disaster response frameworks and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Develop process maps, functional specifications, and business cases aligned with disaster recovery and continuity planning
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to drive consensus and clarity
Support the design and implementation of technology solutions that enhance emergency preparedness and response
About You
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in disaster management, emergency services, or risk planning




Experience working in the Energy sector is a huge bonus but not mandatory
Strong understanding of business continuity, crisis response, and resilience frameworks
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
