We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking automotive qualifications. This role is ideal for a skilled industry professional who enjoys sharing practical knowledge and supporting learners to develop the skills needed for a career in the automotive industry.

About the role

n

As an Automotive Trainer, you will deliver training aligned with the relevant automotive training packages, ensuring learners gain the technical knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness required for up-to-date automotive trades.

Key responsibilities

n

n
Deliver face-to-face and/or online automotive training and assessment
n
Conduct practical and theoretical assessments in line with training package requirements
n
Develop and maintain training and assessment materials
n
Ensure compliance with RTO and regulatory standards
n




Support and mentor apprentices and adult learners
n

n

About you

n

n
Trade qualification in an automotive discipline (e.g. Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
n
Current and relevant industry experience
n
Training and Assessment qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent)
n
Strong practical skills across automotive systems
n
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
n

n

Desirable

n

n
Experience delivering training within an RTO or TAFE
n
Experience working with apprentices and adult learners
n
Knowledge of WHS and industry safety standards
n
