Job Summary

n

As an Embroidery Machinist at Struddys, you will be responsible for operating our embroidery machines to complete in-house orders to the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring garments are decorated accurately, efficiently, and on time, helping us deliver exceptional results for our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Meet deadlines set by the Operations Manager and Team Leader.
n
Follow all embroidery policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
n
Accurately update the tracker system and maintain a logbook of completed orders.
n
Set up and run embroidery jobs according to order forms, ensuring correct threads and designs are used.
n
Prepare and frame garments correctly before loading machines.
n
Set up logos for embroidery on the computer and confirm approvals from sales reps before production.
n




Inspect and finish garments as required (e.g., steaming) to ensure the highest quality presentation.
n
Keep your work area clean, organised, and protected.
n
Report machine breakdowns promptly to your Team Leader.
n
Report any workplace health and safety issues to your Team Leader.
n
Support the wider production team as required.
n

Qualifications and Skills

n

n
Previous experience operating embroidery machines (e.g. Tajima, or similar) preferred.
n
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
n
Solid organisational skills and ability to follow instructions.
n
Team player with positive communication skills.
n
Willingness to learn and assist in other areas of production if needed.
