Navorina is a 60-bed high care facility with a dedicated memory care (dementia) wing.
Our facility was built by the community for the community and takes pride in its ability to provide up-to-date, evidence-based, responsive care within a rural and regional setting.
We are seeking a motivated Assistants in Nursing to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and other care staff to provide high-quality, person-centered care for our residents.
No two days are the same, and you will have the prospect to make a real difference in the lives of residents each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide nutrition assistance such as meal preparation and feeding support.
Monitor and record resident health and wellbeing under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
Support residents’ participation in activities that promote social, mental, and physical wellbeing.
Communicate effectively with the care team to maintain high standards of care.
Skills and Experience:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) preferred but not required, training available for the right candidate
A caring, reliable, and friendly attitude with a genuine passion for supporting older people
Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance from Registered Nurses and supervisors
Strong communication skills and a respectful, empathetic demeanor
