We have the opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our expanding and welcoming Skin Cancer Clinic.

ABOUT US:

Northern Skin Doctors, established in 2019 is a locally owned and managed healthcare practice. We take excellent pride in providing our community with high-quality, patient-centric healthcare. We are currently seeking a friendly, creative, and empathetic professional to join our expanding practice as a medical receptionist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

Greeting patients in a warm and welcoming manner

n

Taking appointments and managing practitioners' calendars and client needs

n

Responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email inquiries

n

Taking payments and processing Medicare and private health claims

n

Issuing invoices and receipts

n

Maintaining and updating patient records and ensuring confidentiality

n

Providing practitioners, management, staff, external providers, and clients with general administrative support

n

Assisting in the maintenance of policies, procedures, and practice systems

n

Keeping the reception area clean and organised.

ABOUT YOU:





n

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a receptionist or in a similar role (Essential)

n

Previous medical practice experience (Highly Regarded)

n

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)

n

Familiarity with medical software (Highly Regarded)

n

Strong verbal and written communication skills

n

High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

n

Excellent time-management and organisational skills

n

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Professional appearance and attitude

n

Willingness to learn and develop

n
