Mavin Truck Centre is a family-owned local business providing sales, service and parts for a range of heavy vehicles. Specialising in Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Fuso and Hino.

Our Kempsey workshop is currently seeking a hands-on, detail orientated accessory fitter to join our current vehicle pre-delivery team.

The applicant

n

n
While automotive qualifications are not essential – an enthusiastic work ethic and passion is.
n
Experience as an accessory fitter working on heavy vehicles
n
Robust attention to detail with pride in delivering vehicles to the highest standard
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
n
HR licence an advantage but not essential. Current driver's licence required.
n

Duties include

n

n
Fit a variety of genuine and aftermarket accessories such as radios, seat covers, lighting, guards,



mudflaps and add-on components on commercial trucks and vehicles
n
Work with the pre-delivery co-ordinator and sales team to ensure timely completion of pre-delivery checklists and new vehicle fitups
n
Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) across a range of new vehicles
n
Identify and report any issues or required rectifications
n
Preservation checklists for vehicles waiting for sale/delivery
n
Wash and detail trucks ready for delivery
n
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace, complying with OHS/WHS within the workplace
n
