Maintenance Carpenter / Building All-Rounder

Elle Building Group is a growing insurance building company servicing insurance builders, property managers and homeowners throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

n

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter / Building All-Rounder to join our team.

n

This isn't a production building role. Every day is different. You'll be carrying out inspections, organising repairs, solving problems and completing a variety of maintenance and insurance repair works. The ideal person enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and can confidently manage multiple jobs at once.

About the Role

n

You will be involved in:

n

n
Insurance building repairs
n
Emergency make-safe works
n
Roof repairs (tile and metal)
n
Roof leak investigations
n
Minor carpentry works
n
Building maintenance
n
Restoration works
n
Site inspections and building assessments
n
Preparing reports, photographs and documentation
n
Ordering materials and coordinating repairs
n

We're Looking For Someone Who:

n

n
Has a minimum of 5 years' carpentry experience
n
Can confidently work independently with minimal supervision
n
Is comfortable working at heights and on roofs
n




Can carry out site measures and order materials accurately
n
Understands the quick-paced nature of the insurance building industry
n
Can manage multiple jobs, changing priorities and competing deadlines without becoming overwhelmed
n
Is organised and solutions-focused
n
Has solid communication skills and presents professionally to homeowners, insurers and clients
n
Has broad building knowledge across maintenance and repair works
n
Is confident using smartphones, apps and technology for photos, reports and job management
n

n

Experience in insurance repairs, maintenance, roofing or restoration will be highly regarded.

Requirements

Qualified Carpenter (mandatory)
n
Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
White Card
n
Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
n
Own basic trade tools
n
