Cold Storage Counterbalance, Slip Sheet, Tugger Operators
EXPERIENCED FORKLIFT OPERATORS - COLD STORAGE
We are seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work in a busy Cold Storage environment.
This is a full-time hours, Monday to Friday position, and we are looking for people who are genuinely seeking stable, ongoing work.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
ProvenCounterbalance Forkliftexperience
Experience operatingCrown Joystick machinery
Experience usingSlipsheet / Push Plate attachments
CurrentLF Forklift Licence
THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES:
General warehouse and labouring duties as required
Container unloading
Manual handling and the ability to safely liftup to 25kg
Working as part of a team in aCold Storage environment
HOURS:
Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
AM Shift:6:00am - 2:00pm
PM Shift:2:30pm - 10:30pm
Applicants must be flexible and available forovertime when required
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:
Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
This position isnot suitable for Working Holiday or Student Visa holdersdue to the ongoing, full-time hours and availability required
Robust verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and co-workers and understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
CurrentDriver Licenceand reliable vehicle
Own PPE, includingsteel-capped safety boots
Freezer clothing rated to-47°C preferred- assistance with purchasing suitable freezer gear can be provided if required
Currentclean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
