About the Role and You
SEN is looking for a General Manager – Melbourne Mavericks Netball.
The role will primarily lead the strategic and operational direction of the Melbourne Mavericks, ensuring the club is financially sustainable, culturally vibrant, performance‐driven, and connected deeply to its fans and partners across Melbourne.
This role will suit a agile leader who is passionate about the business of sport and the craft of high performance.
Main Duties
Lead overall club performance, driving revenue growth across sponsorships, memberships,



ticketing, and events
Deliver the club's strategic plan and strengthen brand positioning in the market
Build and manage key partnerships and integrated campaigns
Work with the Head Coach to foster a high‐performance, accountable culture
Support recruitment, retention, and long‐term athlete development
Align performance outcomes with commercial and community objectives
Drive fan growth through engaging, data‐led campaigns across membership, ticketing, and merchandise
Build strong connections with community clubs, schools, and grassroots pathways
Ensure governance, compliance, and effective risk management
Provide clear reporting to executives, stakeholders, and the board
Represent the club across league and partner forums
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Delivers results and drives outcomes under pressure
Overcomes obstacles while supporting team success
Communicates clearly across diverse audiences
Builds strong stakeholder relationships and manages complex issues
Leads high‐performing teams toward shared goals
